The property was previously a historic cattle ranch, and in fact a portion of our lodge property is still a working cattle operation, providing a classic Western vibe to the experience. Madison Double R's name was inspired by the original name of the property, which was the River Ranch. With 1200 acres on a mile of Madison River frontage just south of iconic Varney Bridge, Madison Double R offers guided fly fishing on area waters, luxury accommodations, and a relaxing outdoor experience second to none.
