About The Tackle Shop
The Tackle Shop, Montana’s oldest fly shop was established in 1937 and has been the fisherman’s home on the Madison river for three generations. We provide educational, fun, fly fishing trips on The Madison, Big Hole, Beaverhead and Yellowstone River. Our store is just a long cast away from the Madison River and has a full line of Orvis products along with great gear from all the popular manufacturers and the largest fly selection on the river. We pride ourselves on providing fun honest advice and great trips to the traveling fisherman. The Tackle Shop was awarded the Orvis Endorsed Outfitter of the Year award in 2001, 2017 and again in 2026.
