Back Country Hunting Camp cook wanted for remote guided hunting camp. We are looking for a cook who will work with a small team in an integral part of the camp managing the kitchen and providing hot meals for our back country hunts.  Responsibilities include kitchen/food management, food prep, and inventory updates. Must work well with others and enjoy being outdoors.  No backcountry experience required though it is preferred.  We provide housing in and out of the mountains during the season. Backcountry packer wanted for east-side Bob Marshall Wilderness outfitter. We have are looking for a packer to run supplies, haul hay, haul meat, and other assorted back country  packing work for a hunting camp.  Would start mid to late August with wrapping up summer trips and move into camp set up.  Season runs through mid-October. Requires stock experience, riding experience and some packing fundamentals.  This is a small well oiled team and being able to work with people is a must.  Must be self-motivated and able to work well on a schedule.  Aspects of this job include working the the larger team as well as another packer at times. Job includes packing supplies on packstock (primarily mules), meat transport, stock care, as well as some camp chores when in camp. ISO: guide for archery elk camp in Montana. Private land hunting, tree stand and ground blinds on water holes mainly, guide responsible for helping place and move equipment , scouting possible new areas, pick up and drop off clients with ATVs, field dressing and game retrieval, along with helping maintain clean camp. 5 weeks/trips beginning first week of September and ending first week in October. Must be safety minded and willing to help out during various hunting seasons to facilitate staff and client interaction with our horses.  Pay depends on experience and includes all lodging and food while guiding for us.  We have a great setup with hunters booked from all over the country.
