This would include archery and rifle seasons along with setting up camp and breaking it down, dates would run from mid August through mid November. Guide services are needed during Archery & Rifle Seasons for Elk and Deer Hunts in Central Montana as well as Archery & Rifle Seasons for Deer and Antelope Hunts in Northwest South Dakota. Salmon Forks Outfitters is hiring a Trailhead Manager for the 2022 season. Meadow Creek trailhead is at the northern end of the Bob Marshall Wilderness and serves as a base of operations for our backcountry camp. Applicants must have extensive equine husbandry skills, including herd management, doctoring horses and mules and tack maintenance and care; as well as skills in logistics, customer service and management. Applicants must be capable of driving trucks and pulling gooseneck trailers, hauling hay, packing horses and mules, and must not mind the solitude of working alone for days at a time. Current CPR and Wilderness First Aid certifications preferred. The season runs June through October; the salary is $2000-$3000 per month/DOE and includes room and board.
