Five Bears Outfitters is looking for an elk hunting guide for the 2026 season. 

Our outfit is a backcountry horse ran outfit. Horsemanship is appreciated but not necessary. The guide position we are looking for guarantees 6 weeks of work during the 2026 fall season (09/5-10/30). There are tentatively other opportunities for work during the summer season, and spring bear in 2027. We are based in Stevensville, MT, a room and meals will be provided on days off if needed. 

Applicants must have elk hunting experience!! If you do not have horse back/packing experience we will provide a 3 week training in June. This training is mandatory for all applicants that do not have packing experience.
